I grew up in Cincinnati, OH, and received my Bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati. In the Lepper Lab, my research focuses on the effects of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and GNE Myopathy, on satellite cell-mediated skeletal muscle regeneration.
