I am Palestinian-Jordanian, born and raised in Qatar. I am interested in cell signaling on both a basic mechanistic level and a holistic cellular/organismal level. Specifically, I am studying how Eph-ephrin signaling works and how it may contribute to cell behavior and embryo development. Outside of the lab, I also study science in the public sphere, analyzing scientfic communication and representation in society.
